Job Description:
Waterstone Counseling Center, LLC is seeking a Patient Coordinator with medical office scheduling experience to help out their rapidly growing New Haven office.
Waterstone provides Medication Assisted Treatment and Psychotherapy, with a high focus on addiction and recovery treatment. Ideally, candidates will be looking for long term position and to grow with Waterstone expansion into full time.
Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in medical office and working with EHR and patient charting. Candidates must have strong technical and scheduling background. Candidates must be able to multi-task effectively and efficiently in a busy environment. Candidates must be able to work calmly with patients to assist their needs.

We offer psychological and medication management services including substance use such as opiates and alcohol as well as other mental health issues including ADHD, ADD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our staff emphasizes empathy, compassion, collaboration, and empowerment. The new hire is responsible for providing evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy.
Other Duties Include:
— Triage new patients and current patients for toxicology, vitals and check in
— Scheduling new and existing clients, comfortable working with electronic records
— Working with medical, counseling and admin staff to ensure quality client care
— Exceptional communication skills, answering phones
— Exceptional computer skills, comfortable in Windows Platform and working in multiple programs at once
— Detail oriented scheduling for multiple appointments - counseling and medical
— Collect co-pays and other fees required prior to the office visit or treatment
— Appointment confirmations
— Assist with front office duties including faxes, prior authorizations, medication issues, client letters, correspondence with other agencies including legal, DCF
— Assist medical and counseling staff as needed
— Assist manager upon request
